What do you photograph?
I offer any type of portrait session - family, children, seniors, wedding, even your pets!
Where is your studio?
Sessions are conducted in my studio at 317 Commercial Street in Emporia, KS. For outdoor sessions, there are several locations in the area that I use. If you have a special place in the area you would like to use, let me know!
What are your hours?
Sessions are by appointment only. I try to return phone calls and emails immediately. Use the contact form if you have any questions or would like more information on session options and pricing. Please follow-up if you don't hear back from me within 48 hours.
When should I have maternity and newborn portraits taken?
Around 32-36 weeks is best for maternity portraits, the best time for newborns is within the first two weeks. Try to schedule well in advance for these types of sessions.
Do you have any session package options?
Yes! I offer Mother & Child Sessions (maternity and newborn), a Baby Club, and a Kid's Club, as well as 3 different Session Proof Packages that are great for seniors.
What if I get a bruise or acne before my session?
Basic retouching is included on any prints you order.
Can we bring a change of clothes?
Yes! I allow 2 hours for Sessions so there is plenty of time for clothing changes.
For newborns, simple is best - just bring a white onesie and some blankets.
For toddlers and children bring a few different outfits. Mix it up with some simple outfits...jeans, khakis, and plain dresses with bare feet and some colorful outfits.
For high school seniors, bring at least 3-5 outfits with differing styles.
What are your payment options?
The session fee is due when you have your session. Within 5 days of your session your proofs will be avaiable to view. After your viewing session, your proofs will be uploaded to a secure web gallery. Your site will be available for 60 days.
If you need more time to order, you can have your proofs reposted for just $10 for another 60 days. There is a 10% surcharge for orders places 60 days after the session.
I accept credit card, cash or checks for portrait orders. Session fees must be paid with check or cash.
Do you have a Referral Program?
I do! My goal is that you are thrilled not only with your pictures but also with the experience of having your portraits taken. I provide referral cards for you to share with friends and family and every new client you refer, you will receive $25 off your next session fee or order! The person you refer will receive a free 8x10 from their first session. Thank you for helping my business grow. Referrals are the heart of my business!
